CC-Link IE

CC-Link IE Field and CC-Link IE TSN give a Mitsubishi iQ-R PLC deterministic, high-speed communication with robot controllers, servo amplifiers, and remote I/O across a ring or star topology. It is the natural choice when the rest of the line already standardizes on Mitsubishi control hardware.

Robot controllers that support CC-Link IE typically expose the same cyclic data exchange model used by Mitsubishi's own motion controllers, so a robot can be mapped into the PLC program much like another axis or device on the network.

Outside Japan and Mitsubishi-heavy facilities, CC-Link IE is less common than EtherNet/IP or PROFINET, so spare hardware and local expertise can be harder to source.
