SMC vacuum
Pneumatic vacuum ejectors, cups, and valve systems from SMC used to build vacuum end-of-arm tooling for handling flat or sealed parts.
SMC's vacuum product line covers ejector pumps, suction cups in various durometers, and the valve and filter components needed to build a complete vacuum gripping circuit. Integrators typically design a custom tooling plate around SMC components rather than buying a fixed vacuum gripper assembly.
Vacuum level and flow sensors from the same product family feed back into the robot's I/O to confirm a part is actually gripped before the robot moves, important for cardboard, sheet metal, and other porous or uneven surfaces.
