Why the numbers disagree

The shares do not divide a clean whole. The IFR could not assign an industry to 14% of 2024 installations, so food and beverage's 4% is 4% of a total that includes a large unclassified slice. Treat industry percentages as approximate, and never subtract them from 100% to infer another sector's share, because that missing 14% is not spread evenly across the named industries.
