Changing the Controller Date and Time
For a technician correcting the controller's clock so logs, backups, and scheduled tasks are timestamped accurately.
- Step 1.
Open the Clock screen
On the pendant, press MENU, then 0 --NEXT--, then 6 SYSTEM, then F1 [TYPE], and pick Clock. The Clock screen is not under Config or Setup.
- Step 2.
Note the current setting
Record the current date and time in case it needs to be restored.
- Step 3.
Start the adjustment
Press F4 ADJUST to open the date and time fields for editing.
- Step 4.
Enter the correct date
Type the correct date in the format the controller expects.
- Step 5.
Enter the correct time
Type the correct time, checking whether the controller uses 24-hour format.
- Step 6.
Save the change
Press F4 FINISH to apply the new date and time.
Caution: Expect a SYST-136 System Time was reset alarm after adjustment. That's normal on save.
- Step 7.
Verify the change took effect
Check the status bar or Clock screen to confirm the new date and time are showing correctly.
