Miller welding
Miller Electric arc welding power sources and wire feeders integrated with robot controllers for synchronized parameter control and weld monitoring.
Miller's robotic welding power sources, including the Auto-Continuum and PipeWorx lines, connect to the robot controller through a digital interface that lets weld programs call up stored parameter sets rather than manual dial adjustment. This supports fast changeover between different joints or part families on the same line.
Miller also supplies Insight weld monitoring software that logs weld data for quality tracking, which some plants tie into their broader MES or quality system for traceability reporting.
As with any arc welding power source integration, cable routing between the power source, wire feeder, and torch needs to account for the robot's full range of motion without binding or excess strain.
