Safety Board

Monitors redundant safety inputs and enforces safety-rated speed and position limits independent of the main controller logic.

The safety board handles dual-channel safety inputs such as fence interlocks, light curtains, and safety mats, and can also enforce software-defined speed and position limits on models that support functions like dual check safety.

It runs its own diagnostic checks independently of the main CPU board, comparing redundant input channels to detect a single failed wire or contact before it becomes a hazard.

A mismatch between the two channels on any safety input is the most common way this board reports a fault, and it usually points to a wiring problem outside the cabinet rather than the board itself.
