The 'everyone is adopting AI' framing averages away the size gradient. 37% of firms with 250 or more employees use AI, 32% at 100 to 249, and far less at the smallest firms. The technology is concentrated among firms with the scale, capital, and technical staff to deploy it, not spread evenly.
