SRVO-027: Robot not mastered
Calibration was attempted before mastering was completed for the named group - the robot doesn't yet have its axis reference data, so calibration has nothing to work from.
What it means
Calibration was attempted before mastering was completed for the named group - the robot doesn't yet have its axis reference data, so calibration has nothing to work from.
Common causes
Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.
- Mastering never performed or was lost (battery/BZAL events, motor replacement).
- On Dispense systems, this alarm's severity is raised to ABORT by default, which surprises people who expect a warning.
How to fix it
- Perform mastering from SYSTEM > Master/Cal, then calibrate.
- On Dispense systems where a group's mastering is intentionally skipped, lower SRVO-027's severity back to default on the Error Severity screen.
- After mastering, verify positions carefully before running programs - a mis-mastered robot moves confidently to the wrong places.
