FANUC DR-3iB

The FANUC DR-3iB is a four-axis delta that hangs overhead and works down over the line beneath it. FANUC introduced it in 2019 for packaging and light material handling on fast-moving product. By class it's built for rapid, light-payload cycles rather than heavy tooling.

Payload tops out at 8 kg, so the DR-3iB stays with light items and leaves heavy loads to other arms. Its 0.03 mm repeatability holds tight placement across a 1600 mm reach. Those numbers frame it as a dedicated picker for a moving conveyor.

The DR-3iB carries an IP69K rating. It runs on the R-30iB Plus controller, and vision-guided picking is part of its brief, which pairs it with conveyor tracking and IRVision work. That combination fits the light packaging tasks it targets.
