SRVO-206: Deadman switch (SVEMG abnormal)

The deadman was released with the pendant enabled, but the emergency stop line didn't disconnect - the deadman's stop function failed to act.

What it means

The deadman was released with the pendant enabled, but the emergency stop line didn't disconnect - the deadman's stop function failed to act. One configuration exception: robot-isolation setups can trigger this through a settings error.

Common causes

Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.

  1. Fault in the E-stop line related parts.
  2. On controllers fitted with a Robot Isolation hardware switch: incorrect $ROBOT_ISOLC setting.

How to fix it

  1. If the system uses Robot Isolation, verify $ROBOT_ISOLC before condemning hardware.
  2. Otherwise treat as a failed safety function: maintenance-manual diagnosis, qualified personnel, no production until resolved. Power-cycle to clear after repair.
