SRVO-277: Panel E-stop (SVEMG abnormal)

SVEMG-family fault for the operator panel button: it was pressed but the emergency stop line didn't disconnect.

What it means

SVEMG-family fault for the operator panel button: it was pressed but the emergency stop line didn't disconnect. One redeeming quirk the manual documents: pressing the button too SLOWLY can trigger this falsely - so the retest matters before condemning hardware.

Common causes

Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.

  1. Button pressed too slowly - a documented false trigger; retest with a firm, quick press.
  2. Genuine fault in the E-stop line's related parts.

How to fix it

  1. Release the panel E-stop and cycle controller power.
  2. Press the button again, firmly and at normal speed: if the alarm does NOT recur, it was the slow-press quirk - done.
  3. If it recurs, the stop function is genuinely suspect: maintenance-manual diagnosis, qualified personnel, no production meanwhile. Power-cycle to clear.
