SRVO-278

SRVO-278: TP E-stop (SVEMG abnormal)

Same SVEMG fault as SRVO-277, for the teach pendant's E-stop button - pressed, but the line didn't drop.

What it means

Same SVEMG fault as SRVO-277, for the teach pendant's E-stop button - pressed, but the line didn't drop. Same slow-press quirk applies.

Common causes

Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.

  1. Button pressed too slowly (documented false trigger).
  2. Genuine E-stop line fault.

How to fix it

  1. Release the TP E-stop, cycle power, retest with a firm press.
  2. Recurrence = failed safety function: diagnose per the maintenance manual before running production. Power-cycle to clear.
