SRVO-113: Cart. error excess

Cartesian or Pushout softfloat alarm: the position error measured in Cartesian coordinates (the message names the X/Y/Z direction, or 'pushout') exceeded its tolerance while softfloat was active.

What it means

Cartesian or Pushout softfloat alarm: the position error measured in Cartesian coordinates (the message names the X/Y/Z direction, or 'pushout') exceeded its tolerance while softfloat was active.

Common causes

Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.

  1. Tolerance set too tight for the application ($CB_IX/$CB_IY/$CB_IZ per group).
  2. A real source of position error - force, speed, or setup.
  3. Pushout case: wrong Soft direction / FREE axis settings, workpiece moving too fast, or external force too large.

How to fix it

  1. Cartesian case: sanity-check the tolerance variables; if proper, find and remove what's driving the error; only if the error source is legitimate and accepted, the check can be disabled ($CB_MASS=0) with power cycle - a deliberate decision, not a silencing trick.
  2. Pushout case: verify Soft direction and FREE axis settings, reduce workpiece speed, reduce external force at softfloat start.
